Technologies
The RANGER 102 uses the following technologies:

Sintered bases have exceptional waxing properties and a very long service life.

The Flex-Cut at the binding area optimized the flex of the ski according to the target group

The shorter contact length of the ski ensures that turn initiation is easier and requires less effort.

Noyau bois combiné à des chants ABS dans une construction Sandwich classique, pour un flex harmonieux et un rebond parfait.

Shaped Ti is a 0.5mm titanium inlay matched precisely to the ski geometry. Specific contouring provides the appropriate amount of stability for a given ability level, plus optimal grip and a smooth ride.

Fischer nailed it with Ranger 102FR. I would classify this as a single-quiver ski for skiing mostly off piste in CO. If you want to ski it aggressively, you can. It will blast through crud and remain damp through bumps. But it’s also forgiving enough to be skied more casually with weight more centered on the ski. I’m 5’8” and find the 176 to be just about perfect. The 18m radius with tails that are not overly stiff makes for a versatile ski. I anticipate this will be the ski I grad 9/10 days this season.
JustinBest all around ski ever.
Today I demoed a pair of the 2023 Ranger 102 in 176. The day was warm, 36F, coverage was hard pack with 1”-4” on top.
RobinThey excelled in all areas. They transition edge to edge like a dream, they handle tight to long GS turns beautifully, they smack through lips and debris as if they weren’t there and their stability was exceptional. I only wish that there was powder to test flotation.
All in all the Fischer Ranger 102 was exceptional. I’ll be buying a pair real soon.
