Maren Lundby in Hinzenbach again sovereign winner

At the ski jumping World Cup in Hinzenbach (AUT) Maren Lundby (NOR, Fischer) celebrated her next victory. Katharina Althaus (GER, Fischer) took third place.

Once again, no one could dispute Maren Lundby's next victory. Her fourth success in a row was her 18th World Cup victory alltogether. Although the Norwegian had only a slight lead after the first round because of better wind conditions, she extended it again in the final with another 86 meters and was celebrated in the outrun by her team-mates. Katharina Althaus took third place, although she lost a few meters in the first round due to worse wind conditions. Carina Vogt (GER, Fischer) is getting in better shape just a few weeks before the Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld (AUT) and was especially satisfied after her final jump on 82.5 meters and sixth place. Anna Odine Strøm (NOR, Fischer) finished seventh, 10th place went to local hero Chiara Hölzl (AUT, Fischer). Her team-mate Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT, Fischer) has been struggling with pain in her operated knee for a week and was sick all week - her only jump in qualification was too short to make the cut into the competition.
