German Ski jumper Pius Paschke made his international debut in February 2005 at the FIS jumping event in Hinterzarten. In 2015, he took part in the Four Hills Tournament for the first time. In Oberstdorf 2021 the real family person became World Champion with the German team in front of their home crowd.

 

 

 When did you start ski jumping?

I started ski jumping at the age of 9.

What was your breakthrough in your ski jumping career?

In the summer of 2017 when I got the quota place in both the FIS Cup and the Continental Cup and therefore qualified for the World Cup.

What is your favorite hill to jump and why?

Kuusamo - the hill has an older profile and is a flying hill.

What kind of training do you enjoy the most?

Ski jumping itself, of course.

Which kind of training do you have to overcome?

To none, actually. I am always happy to train.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Skiing, canyoning, playing guitar, spending time with family and friends.

What are the 3 most important things to know about you?

I am calm.

I am very helpful.

I am a real family man.

Personal quote or motto?

I don't have one.

 where have you not been yet, where would you like to go?

I would like to go to Canada someday.

What advice would you give to a young athlete?

I would advise him or her to always be persistent.
