Hanna Öberg made it onto the podium

Hanna Öberg (SWE, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) reached a podium position at the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof (GER). She took third place in the sprint race.

Lisa Vittozzi (ITA) could not be stopped when she secured her first ever World Cup victory today. But also Hanna Öberg had a good day, hit all ten targets and secured third place with a strong final lap, which meant only the second World Cup podium of the Olympic champion. Iryna Kryuko (BLR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) convinced as a good fifth ahead of Vita Semerenko (UKR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) and Anastasiya Kuzmina (SVK, Fischer skis, bindings and boots), who together with Denise Hermann (GER , Fischer skis, bindings and boots) was the fastest skier in today's sprint. Rank nine went to Celia Aymonier (FRA, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) ahead of Susan Dunklee (USA, Fischer skis, bindings and boots).
