The Swiss freestyler was able to claim her second victory at the second World Cup of the season and is thus celebrating a perfect start to her first season with Fischer skis. As with her World Cup victory at the Big Air in Chur, she benefited from her outstanding performance in qualifying, as the finals at the second World Cup on the Stubai Glacier also had to be canceled due to bad weather.
The better of Mathilde's two runs in the qualification is picked, which received the top score of 87.50 points from the jury, while she fell short of her expectations in the first run with 31.00 points. She was therefore able to show strong confidence after the first run and deserved her second World Cup victory of the season!
In the men's event, Brit Tyler Harding put in the best performance, finishing 11th in his heat and 22nd overall. Sweden's Isak Davidson finished 20th in his heat and Austria's Noah Schallert 23rd in his heat. Vice World Champion Lukas Müllauer was unable to compete after a training crash just before the competition, but suffered no further injuries.
The athletes continue with a Big Air in Beijing, China. Qualification is scheduled for November 30, with the finals on December 2.
