The 27-year-old ski tour expert Lukas Ruetz from the Sellrain valley in Tyrol has enjoyed an excellent reputation in Alpine sports circles for many years now. In his blog and on social media he regularly supplies his followers with news about exciting tours and the latest snow conditions, and is also happy to share his knowledge on avalanche awareness and ski touring styles in a live setting by giving talks.

Josef Fischer, recognized as an Honorary Councilor of Commerce in Austria, and the son of the founder of Fischer Sports, LTD who went on to own the company, passed away on August 26th at the age of 90. Though the book of the venerable Josef Fischer’s life has now closed, his life’s work- the last of the great Austrian ski companies- will remain 100% in his family’s possession.

Swiss Luca Aerni, Englishman Dave Ryding and German Marina Wallner are switching to the ski equipment manufactured in Ried im Innkreis and will be racing on Fischer skis from now on.
