Eventfull Skimo World Cup in Schladming

A few more medals in the showcase of our skimo athletes after a successful World Cup weekend in Schladming. Sarah Dreier, AUT, wins the vertical on home soil, Thibault Anselmet, FRA, comes second in the vertical and sprint and Marianne Fatton, SUI, comes third in the sprint!

After last year's victory, Sarah Dreier won the home World Cup in Schladming again this year. "It's another fantastic day. It was extremely cool to run together with Johanna. It's just wonderful when you know that your hard work is paying off," said Dreier.

Thibault Anselmet even competed in two races, the vertical and the sprint, and came second in both! A strong performance from the French all-rounder who was able to extend his lead in the overall World Cup.

Switzerland's Marianne Fatton also continued her successful season, finishing a strong third in the sprint races and thus remaining at the top of the overall sprint World Cup standings.
