Successful European Skimountaineering Championship in Flaine, France, with 5 medals

We can definitely say that the European Ski Mountaineering Championships were an event that we will remember fondly. The Fischer Family finished with 5 podium places, including 2x Gold for Sarah Dreier (AUT) and Marianne Fatton (SUI), 1x Silver for Thibault Anselmet and 2x Bronze for Thibault Anselmet and Marianne Fatton.

The first medal in the first race was snagged by Thibault Anselmet from France. He finished the individual race in a strong third place and took home the bronze medal!

There it is, the first gold medal! Switzerland's Marianne Fatton secures the gold medal in the final of the Sprint Discipline, having already won the heats and the semi-final with aplomb.

Next day, next gold medal. This time for Austrian athlete Sarah Dreier. She wins the Vertical Race very confidently and has enough time to grab a flag of her home country before the finish line.

Two Fischer athletes are also on the podium in the last race of the European Championships, the Mixed Relay. Silver for the french team with Thibault Anselmet and Celia Perillat Pelissey and bronze for the Swiss team with Marianne Fatton and Remi Bonnet.

Now it's back to the World Cup races!
