In difficult tailwind conditions almost throughout the competition, the classification in the final was still thoroughly mixed up. Markus Eisenbichler also took a weaker second jump. Thanks to his lead of just under five points to third place after the first round, he was able to stay on top ahead of Stefan Kraft, who moved up from eighth to three. Better was only high-flyer Ryoyu Kobayashi (JPN), who triumphed despite a weak final jump. Last year's winner Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) only reached eighth place, Daniel Huber (AUT, Fischer) finished tenth.
