Successful World Championships in Saalbach
With six medals in eleven decisions, the Alpine World Championships in Saalbach were a great success for the #fischerracefamily. In the end, two gold, two silver and two bronze medals were won by the RC4 Noize.

It all started with the team parallel competition, which provided quite a spectacle. The World Championships also got off to a successful start for Fischer with this competition, as Lara Della Mea won the gold medal with Italy. The podium was completed by Switzerland with Luca Aerni in second place and Sweden with Kristoffer Jakobsen in third place.

Raphael Haaser's first coup: second place in the Super G and thus the silver medal for the man from Achensee. With an impressive run, the Austrian was only beaten by Swiss high-flyer Marco Odermatt. You can find a detailed report here.
The Team Combined competition celebrated its premiere in Saalbach and was a hit with both the fans and the athletes themselves. The combination of a downhill skier who leads the first run and a slalom skier who brings the result home guarantees excitement. Stefan Rogentin won the bronze medal in the team with Marc Rochard, congratulations Rogi!

As usual, the best comes at the end! With the penultimate men's decision, Raphael Haaser was able to strike for the second time, this time even winning gold in the giant slalom and crowning himself world champion in his own country. You can find a detailed report here.

A consistently great event, with the best organization, a euphoric atmosphere in a magnificent arena and very satisfying results. We will look back on the days in Saalbach for a long time to come, but it is already time to look ahead. Next year, the Olympic Games will take place in Cortina, before the 2027 World Championships are held in Crans Montana, Switzerland.
