Andreas Sander is a German World Cup skier who was born on June 13, 1989 in Schwelm, North Rhine-Westphalia. Sander has established himself primarily as a specialist in the fast disciplines of downhill and super-G. Sander achieved his best performance to date at the 2021 Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo, where he sensationally came second in the downhill and won the silver medal.
