Hanna Öberg misses medals again

Hanna Öberg (SWE, Fischer ***) was again not able to win a medal in the fourth race at the Biathlon World Championship in Antholz (ITA). In the individual competition, the Swede was fourth.

As in the pursuit, Hanna Öberg again narrowly missed the medals in individual over 15 kilometers. The Swede received one penalty minute each in the first and last shooting stage in difficult wind conditions and finished fourth, 38 seconds behind Dorothea Wierer (ITA). Franziska Preuss (GER, Fischer ***) missed two targets in the first shooting and was therefore very dissatisfied with her otherwise flawless race despite finishing fifth. Monika Hojnisz-Starega (POL, Fischer **) was her way to a medal for a long time until she did not hit two targets in the last shooting and finished sixth. Galina Vizhnevskaya (KAZ, Fischer ***) was the only zero shooter and finished ninth.
