A season marked by rings

The new season promises to be thrilling, with the Olympic Games in Italy as its absolute highlight. But even aside from that, the race calendar is packed with highlights. The Fischer Race Family is ready for an exciting season.

Some big names who celebrated great successes on Fischer equipment will be missed after their retirement: the Bø brothers in biathlon, Therese Johaug in cross-country skiing, Markus Eisenbichler in ski jumping, and Jarl Magnus Riiber and Jørgen Graabak in Nordic combined. Nevertheless, the Fischer Race Family is well prepared!
The biathlon team will be reinforced by none other than last season's overall World Cup winner, Sturla Holm Lægreid (NOR), as well as routine Michal Krčmář (CZE) and rookie Vitalii Mandzyn (UKR). In cross-country skiing, talents such as Hedda Østberg Amundsen and Eva Ingebrigtsen (both NOR), Mathis Desloges (FRA), and Cyril Fähndrich (SUI) are bringing a breath of fresh air.

“I want to win my first individual Olympic medal and defend the Olympic gold medal in the relay!”

The ski jumpers will kick off the season from November 21 to 23 in Lillehammer (NOR). A week later, cross-country skiing and Nordic combined will follow in Ruka, Finland, as well as biathlon in Östersund, Sweden. On December 13/14, the long-distance athletes will also get in on the action in Bad Gastein (AUT).
The traditional events await at the turn of the year: the Four Hills Tournament, with its well-known stops, and the Tour de Ski with six stages in Dobbiaco and Val di Fiemme (ITA). The Ski Flying World Championships will take place from January 23 to 25 in Oberstdorf (GER).
Then, on February 6, the time finally comes: the Olympics are calling! Athletes will fight for Olympic medals on the cross-country trails of Lago di Tesero and the ski jumps of Predazzo, while biathletes will compete in Antholz until the Olympic flame is extinguished on February 22.
After that, it's full steam ahead: March 1, Vasaloppet (Sälen-Mora, SWE); March 15, Nordic Combined World Cup Finals (Oslo, NOR); March 22, Cross-Country World Cup Finals (Lake Placid, USA) and Biathlon World Cup Finals (Oslo); March 28 Ski Jumping World Cup Finals (Planica, SLO) and March 29 “Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja” of the Ski Classics Series (Bardufoss-Finnsnes, NOR).
We are looking forward to many exciting competitions and are keeping our fingers crossed for the Fischer Race Family!
