Amazing weekend with three victories for the Fischer Race Family

Nicole Schmidhofer and Max Franz skied their way to victory for the Fischer Race Family a remarkable three times at the Alpine ski races in North America at the weekend. Styrian racer Schmidhofer clinched her very first World Cup victory in Canada on Friday and took first place once again in the second Downhill race on Saturday. Carinthian athlete Franz won the Super G in Beaver Creek following his incredible start to the season just a week before. The icing on the cake came from Switzerland's Thomas Tumler who finished third in the Giant Slalom on Sunday.

Strong performances by the Fischer Race Family in Lake Louise

New Fischer racer Max Franz caused an absolute sensation in Lake Louise, Canada, at the weekend: In Saturday’s Downhill, the native of Carinthia finished in first place ahead of the two Italians Christof Innerhofer and Dominik Paris. Fourth place went to Vincent Kriechmayr, who stepped up a gear in superb fashion for the Super G on Sunday to finish second.
