The new Speedmax 90 Skate Plus 115 is a very lightweight race ski with Air Core HM Carbon core and World Cup experience, as confirmed by the RACE CODE seal. The Skating 115 construction features a special camber with more widely spaced snow contact, leading to increased stability and a more powerful kick on hard snow. Thanks to Cold Base Bonding for optimal wax absorption and grindability, as well as liquid waxable Gliding Sidewall for reduced friction, this ski impresses with extra speed for ambitious racers. To protect the base, a thin layer of wax is applied to the skis which must be removed and brushed off before the first use. Optimized for use at 14°F (-10°C) and warmer.

The top models at Fischer are coated with a thin layer of wax after the first grinding treatment and before delivery to the sports retailer. This preparation with hot wax in cooperation with VAUHTI protects the base against dirt and oxidation and ensures the best gliding properties. Before using the skis for the first time, this protective layer of wax must be removed with a sharp plexiglass blade in the direction of travel under even, light pressure and then brushed off with a nylon or combi brush. The base structure must be completely clean for optimal gliding quality.
