PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Pick up the new Speedmax 3D Skate and the Gliding Sidewall is instantly noticeable. Designed to reduce friction resistance that robs competitors of time and speed, the material can actually be waxed to support unheard levels of glide. Cold Base Bonding enables better wax absorption and grindability, while the RACE CODE seal confirms you have World Cup equipment. Optimized for use at 28°F (-2°C) and colder.

Only the finish line will limit your speed

Sometimes history is decided by a hundredth of a second or a fraction of an inch. With this in mind, the Fischer product team designed Speedmax skis, boots and poles
with cutting edge materials and constructions for minimal weight and maximum speed. The Fischer RACE CODE seal is your assurance that Speedmax products are built to World Cup standards.

Technologies

The Speedmax 3D Skate Cold Stiff uses the following technologies:

Air Core HM Carbon
Air Core HM Carbon

The latest from the World Cup: Proven Air Core material - the most successful ski core with over 80% air content for extremely light weight combined with highly molecular carbon fibres.

CFC - Computer Flex Control
CFC - Computer Flex Control

For racers. Minimises differences in residual tension and camber pressure. Top climbing and kick performance.

Cold Base Bonding
Cold Base Bonding

The revolution in ski making: Speedmax technology to protect the homogeneous molecular structure of the base for perfect wax absorption. Guarantees maximum speed.

DTG World Cup Cold
DTG World Cup Cold

Cold grinding finish from the World Cup. The very flat structure is best suited for very cold temperature and particularly fine snow conditions.

FCF - Fischer Carbon Fiber
FCF - Fischer Carbon Fiber

Multiaxial T300 1K carbon fibre. High strength and minimum weight laminate.

Finish First
Finish First

The finishing touch now comes from Finish First: the term that covers and unites all the individual technological steps in the course of the final treatment of the base.

Gliding Sidewall
Gliding Sidewall

Newly introduced World Cup technology is a thin waxable layer on the sidewalls to reduce friction for more speed with less energy. The sliding sidewall can be prepared with liquid wax only.

Hole Ski Tip
Hole Ski Tip

Skating construction with HM carbon laminates to reduce ski tip mass. Requires less effort thanks to reduced pendulum action.

Precision Pairing System
Precision Pairing System

The next generation in ski pairing: fully automatic dynamic measurements of a multitude of pairing criteria ensures precise ski choice and optimised pairing.

Prewaxed
Prewaxed

Infrared preparation with fluoride-content hot wax. Best gliding properties, protection against dirt and oxidation. Powered by VAUHTI.

Race Code
Race Code

The RACE CODE label of quality guarantees technological lead for professionals and ambitious skiers, direct from Fischer’s racing department: The close contact of the Fischer development team with athletes and trainers ensures that valuable inputs from the piste are implemented directly in technological innovations. Because victory is a question of perfect details.

Sidecut World Cup Skate
Sidecut World Cup Skate

Arrow-shaped sidecut for improved performance and dynamics especially for the 1:1 skating technique.

Skating 610
Skating 610

Skating race ski construction for maximum speed through pressure relief at the ski tip and tail. Perfect on compact to soft snow.

IMPRESSION

This is what Johannes Høsflot Klæbo says about the Speedmax 3D:

The Speedmax 3D is a cool ski with yellow sidewalls which are waxable with liquid waxes. So you can glide on three sides. Once you hit the snow with the sidewalls, the glide will be just as good as on the base under the skis. It's a gamechanger by Fischer resulting in many World Championships medals. I am convinced that this is the future of xc skiing.
