Fischer Transalp

fischer ski transalp tour

Crossing the snow-covered Alps on skis is a very special adventure with memories that will be with you for many years to come. In order to guarantee safety, however, you need meticulous planning and professional guides – which is precisely what the Fischer Transalp offers every year.

Fischer Transalp 2018

The upcoming Transalp will be a very special tour, starting at the very place where the heart of the Fischer touring gear begins to beat – in the middle of the Fischer ski production facility in Ried im Innkreis, Austria. After a brief introduction to the art of manufacturing touring skis and equipped with the latest innovations from the touring sector, the Transalp crew will set off to make their way across the Alps. Starting in the Northern Limestone Alps, this year's tour will be from north to south in seven days, across the very varied mountain ranges of the eastern Alps to Italy. Long stages await the participants and will push them to the limit. But their efforts will not go unrewarded: highlights such as crossing the Dachstein massif, overwhelming panoramic views and spectacular downhills will make the Fischer Transalp 2018 a unique ski touring experience with lasting memories.

The planned route:

  • Day 1: Ried im Innkreis (AUT) – Hinterstoder – Tauplitz
  • Day 2: Tauplitz – Dachstein – Rohrmoos
  • Day 3: Rohrmoos – Zederhaus
  • Day 4: Zederhaus – Obervellach
  • Day 5: Obervellach – Kötschach
  • Day 6: Kötschach – Collina (ITA)

Fischer Transalp 2017

The adventure for the Transalp group 2017 including mountain guides and Fischer support team members started on Sunday 19 March as they set off for Chamonix, France. It is from there that they will cross the Alps in six stages on touring skis. The final destination: Torino, Italy. The weather gods appear to be smiling on the crew, and so the first day begins in brilliant sunshine under a cloudless sky…

The Fischer Transalp 2016
From Reschen in Vinschgau to Allgäu and Oberstdorf in six days – that was the Fischer Transalp 2016. 13 adventurers joined forces with extreme sportsman Axel Naglich in a unique ski touring experience. Despite the forecasts of bad weather to begin with, Fischer mountain guide Peter Perhab looks back on an unforgettable tour: "30cm of powder snow, brilliant sunshine and a panorama which is second to none – we can look back on one of the most beautiful Fischer Transalp tours ever!"
