The Fischer Race Family starts out in a new season

The World Cup opening in Sölden marks the launch of the 18I19 season and the Fischer Race Family is bursting with energy as it starts out in the World Championship winter!

The preparations for the upcoming World Cup season are in full swing – and have been for some time. The Fischer Race Family athletes have already been out on the snow for months, spending their summertime in Chile, New Zealand and Switzerland to make sure they are fully prepared for the first races.Because the upcoming season is not just any season – it's a World Championship season. Athletes will be pushing themselves to the limit in Åre, Sweden, from 5 February 2019 to be triumphant in the battle for medals.

The stars are in alignment for the Fischer Race Family – above all for speed specialist Vinc Kriechmayr, who already earned himself two victories within the space of two days last season at the WSC venue. Together with new signings Max Franz, Patrick Küng and Thomas Tumler, the Fischer Race Family's speed team is particularly strong. The ladies' team, featuring Ramona Siebenhofer, Hanna Schnarf, Ricarda Haaser and Nici Schmidhofer, who as the defending title-holder has already secured her ticket for the WSC, is likewise promising.

And the Fischer Race Family shines brightly not only in the speed disciplines – the technical specialists also have great potential for the podium. Leading the field: Daniel Yule with third places in Kitzbühel and Schladming in 2018, Thomas Fanara, Eva-Maria Brem, Kathi Truppe and Manfred Mölgg. Last season's unlucky racers Roland Leitinger, Steven Nyman and Stefan Brennsteiner are now planning their comebacks after being out through injury.

The Fischer Race Family for 18I19 – we can look forward to a high-performance World Cup winter.
