In the course of the race, a four-way battle for medals developed between Norway, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland, in which France also intervened shortly before the end thanks to World Champion Emilien Jacquelin. After a quick shooting, Franziska Preuss was the first to hand over to her partner Erik Lesser, who was dealing with Johannes Thingnes Bø and who was stronger in terms of skiing. So the next title went to Norway, but the German duo was able to get the third silver medal for Germany, although the Frenchman came very close to him in the meantime. Hanna Öberg (SWE, Fischer ***) finished fourth in the third race a row - this time together with Sebastian Samuelsson (SWE). Lena Häcki (SUI, Fischer ***) and Benjamin Weger (SUI) was ranked fifth ahead of Lisa Theresa Hauser (AUT, Fischer ***) and Simon Eder (AUT).
