Karl Geiger celebrates double victory in Val di Fiemme

After his triumph on Saturday, Karl Geiger (GER, Fischer) celebrated his second win of the season today. Stefan Kraft (AUT, Fischer) finished second.

Spurred by the yellow jersey, Karl Geiger couldn't be beaten in Val di Fiemme on Sunday either. Although the conditions were not easy also today with changing tailwinds, the German showed two very good jumps at 107 and 103.5 meters. "It was really cool today, great jumps, that's fun. It would be nice to keep the jersey until the end of the season, I feel very comfortable in the jersey. But there are still a lot of competitions, but I will stay tuned and give all I have. That gives you confidence when you realize that you are in a really good shape", said Karl Geiger. Stefan Kraft led the classification after the first round because Geiger did not show a telemark in this width, but in the end the Austrian had to line up behind the German. Again Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) just missed the podium. Yesterday it was only 0.1 points, today he was missing 0.9 points for third place. Seventh place went to Peter Prevc (SLO, Fischer).
