German ski jumpers succeed despite fall

Karl Geiger, Markus Eisenbichler (both GER, Fischer), David Siegel and Stephan Leyhe (both GER) celebrated a wafer-thin victory in team competition in Zakopane (POL) ahead of Austria and Poland. However, the success was overshadowed by a fall with severe knee injury.

German ski jumping girls dominate team competition in Zao

Juliane Seyfarth, Ramona Straub (both GER), Carina Vogt and Katharina Althaus (both GER, Fischer) celebrated a souvereign victory in team competition in Zao (JPN). Second place went to Austrians Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (AUT, Fischer), Eva Pinkelnig (AUT), Chiara Hölzl and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (both AUT, Fischer) in front of the Japanese girls Yuki Ito (JPN), Yuka Seto (JPN, Fischer), Kaori Iwabuchi and Sara Takanashi (both JPN).

France's biathlon girls celebrate sovereign relay victory

Julia Simon, Anais Bescond (both FRA), Justine Braisaz (FRA, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) and Anais Chevalier (FRA) celebrated a sovereign victory with the women's relay in Ruhpolding (GER). Second place went to Norway with Synnøve Solemdal (NOR), Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Tiril Eckhoff (both NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) and Marte Olsbu Røiseland (NOR) ahead of the German quartet consisting of Vanessa Hinz (GER), Laura Dahlmeier , Franziska Preuss and Denise Herrmann (all GER, Fischer skis, bindings and boots).
