Jarl Riiber celebrates home win at the end of the season

Jarl Magnus Riiber (NOR, Fischer ***) also won the last competition of the season at Oslo Holmenkollen. Ilkka Herola (FIN, Fischer ***) made it onto the podium.

At the last trial of strength this winter, because the World Cup final in Schonach (GER) had to be canceled due to a lack of snow, many good skiers showed a much better jump than in the season so far, such as Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer ***), Ilkka Herola and Fabian Rießle (GER), who were fourth, fifth and eighth after jumping. However, Jarl Magnus Riiber was not catchable again after gaining a lead with two gates less inrun length that nobody could catch up with him. Third place went to Ilkka Herola, who was beaten by Fabian Rießle in the final sprint. Akito Watabe finished fourth ahead of Jørgen Graabak (NOR, Fischer ***) and Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer ***). Eighth went to Espen Andersen (NOR, Fischer ***) ahead of Ryota Yamamoto (JPN, Fischer ***).
