Crossing the snow-covered Alps on skis is a very special adventure with memories that will be with you for many years to come. In order to guarantee safety, however, you need meticulous planning and professional guides – which is precisely what the Fischer Transalp offers every year.

Our ski touring pros have been making it possible for selected participants to make their ski touring dream come true since 2011. The Fischer Transalp soon achieved cult status and is now a unique experience – year after year!

Time period of the Fischer Transalp:
19-25 March 2017

The Tour:

  • 1st Day: Arrive at Chamonix/Argentiere (FRA)
  • 2nd Day: Argentiere (FRA) – Champex (FRA)
  • 3rd Day: Champex (FRA) – Pila (ITA)
  • 4th Day: Pila (ITA) – Cogne (ITA)
  • 5th Day: Cogne (ITA) – Noasca (ITA)
  • 6th Day: Noasca (ITA) – Torino (ITA)

As in previous years, this year also saw a large number of hopeful applyings. 30 candidates from all over the world were chosen from approximately 150 applications and invited to the big casting session. The candidates had to show under genuine conditions that they had got what it takes, that they were strong team players, and that they were equally proficient climbing and descending. A total of six candidates produced outstanding performances on the day and were chosen for the expedition.

The Tour diary 2017

The adventure for the Transalp group 2017 including mountain guides and Fischer support team members gets underway on Sunday 19 March as they set off for Chamonix, France. It is from here that they will cross the Alps in six stages on touring skis. The final destination of this year's Transalp: Turin, Italy. The Fischer Transalp 2016
From Reschen in Vinschgau to Allgäu and Oberstdorf in six days – that was the Fischer Transalp 2016. 13 adventurers joined forces with extreme sportsman Axel Naglich in a unique ski touring experience. Despite the forecasts of bad weather to begin with, Fischer mountain guide Peter Perhab looks back on an unforgettable tour: "30cm of powder snow, brilliant sunshine and a panorama which is second to none – we can look back on one of the most beautiful Fischer Transalp tours ever!"
