Maren Lundby (NOR, Fischer) also succeded in the last skijumping event this winter and celebrated her 25th World Cup victory. The likeable Norwegian then received the big crystal globe for winning the overall World Cup already the second time.

The outstanding athlete this winter, Maren Lundby, clinched her 25th World Cup victory in the very last competition. The 24-year-old, who secured the overall World Cup weeks ago, was clearly ahead after two jumps on the large hill, thanks to her 137.5 meters in the final, almost without wind. After her 128 meters in the first round she was only just ahead of Juliane Seyfarth. Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (AUT, Fischer) repeated her fourth place from Saturday and, together with sixth-placed Chiara Hölzl (AUT, Fischer), ensured a very good team result. Katharina Althaus (GER, Fischer) took fifth place between the Austrians as the second-best German. Silje Opseth (NOR, Fischer) became tenth.
