Maren Lundby again winner in Romania

Maren Lundby (NOR, Fischer) also won the second competition of the World Cup in Rasnov (ROU). Carina Vogt (GER, Fischer) took her second podium of the winter.

Maren Lundby is in perfect shape on the way to the World Championships in Seefeld (AUT). Today, she takes advantage of a shorter final jump from Juliane Seyfarth (GER), who had taken the lead after the first round and improved from two to one with the longest jump of the day of 95.5 meters. After two jumps, she was seven points ahead of Carina Vogt, who cheered on her second podium finish this winter. As expected, Katharina Althaus (GER, Fischer) lost her yellow jersey to Maren Lundby in fifth place. Chiara Hölzl (AUT, Fischer) finished ninth ahead of Anna Odine Strøm (NOR, Fischer). Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT) finished eleventh but suffered an injury in the outrun.
