Maren Lundby celebrates second home win

Maren Lundby (NOR, Fischer) also won the second ski jumping event on her home hill in Lillehammer (NOR). Chiara Hölzl (AUT, Fischer) made a podium again.

Despite corrections in the air in changeable tailwind conditions local hero Maren Lundby was again in a class of her own. Already in the first round she was the best with 138.5 meters and was already ten points ahead of everyone else, so that in the final with strong tailwind 121 meters were enough still to extend her lead. Second place went to Chiara Hölzl, who secured her second podium in the second competition. Katharina Althaus (GER, Fischer) was again sixth, seventh went to Nika Kriznar (SLO, Fischer) ahead of Ursa Bogataj (SLO, Fischer). Ninth was the 21-year-old newcomer Marita Kramer (AUT, Fischer), who actually wanted to end her career this summer, followed by Yuka Seto (JPN, Fischer).
