The Swiss biathlete has decided to tackle the Olympic season on Speedmax 3D Skate skis, Speedmax Skate boots, as well as TURNAMIC® bindings. For the oldest of the three Gasparin sisters it was "time for something new". Read more in the short interview below.
What made you decide to switch to Fischer?
Selina Gasparin: I wanted to try something new for the Olympic season. I was able to test Fischer skis and boots in the spring and had a good feeling with them.
What is particularly important for you when choosing your equipment?
Selina Gasparin: To perform at your best you need the best equipment. The Fischer ski is easy to ski on and I hope to be able to ski more economically with it.
What is on your training program for the next weeks and months?
Selina Gasparin: I'm on a training course with SWISSSKI, for example in Hochfilzen, Oberhof, Martell and Ramsau. I will have my first taste of racing at the Blink Festival in Norway.
What are your goals for the next season?
Selina Gasparin: I would like to be able to show my best performance at the Olympics and wish to be able to make it onto the podium again next season.
