"With fifth place in the sprint there was an incentive to fight for the medals. But it was always a mistake too much so far. I was a little nervous because my starting position was about as good as last year. It was a shame that I missed the last shot. I saw that the Doro was gone, but I was out with Olsbu and I knew I could make it", she said. Hanna Öberg (SWE, Fischer ***) could no longer intercept the Norwegian and thus missed the medals. Ivona Fialkova (SVK, Fischer ***) was the sixth and achieved her best career result. With fast and risky shooting Alexander Loginov tried to repeat his success from the sprint. That went well until the last shooting, when he had to go into the penalty loop. He could no longer catch up with Johannes Thingnes Bø and Emilien Jacquelin (FRA), who went into the last lap together.
