Johannes Thingnes Bø unbeatable

In the sprint race on Pokljuka (SLO) Johannes Thingnes Bø (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) proved to be unbeatable despite one penalty. Alexander Loginov (RUS, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) finished third.

Early in the season Johannes Thingnes Bø is in top form, unlike his long-time rival Martin Fourcade (FRA). With only one shooting error, nobody was able to reach the Norwegian who was flying over the snow, winning the race 16 seconds ahead. "Sprint is always good for me, we had luck with the draw right behind Simon Schempp (GER), so I was geared to him. Then I started with zero misses in the first shooting, it started well. I'm always fast skiing, but you also have to shoot well, so I'm very happy", he said. Alexander Loginov made it onto the podium thanks to faultless shooting performance. Tarjei Bø (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) finished fourth with one penalty. Sindre Pettersen (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots), who was one of the best athletes five years ago at the Junior World Championships in nordic combined, took sixth place in his second World Cup race.
