Double Bronze for the Haasers

Ricarda and Raphael Hauser win Bronze at Alpine Combination at World Championships in Courchevel/Meribel.

What a start into the World Championships in Courchevel/Meribel! The first two competitions ended with two Bronze Medals for the #FischerRaceFamily and and both times the name of the third-place finisher was Haaser. Ricarda Haaser and her brother Haaser started into this Championships, like no one would have predicted before.

Ricarda starts with Bronze

What a start into the World Championships in Courchevel/Meribel!

The World Championships in Courchevel/Meribel started with the Women's Alpine Combination on Monday, 6th February 2023 in Meribel.
And nobody would have expected Ricarda Haaser to complete the podium in third place after Federica Brignone and Wendy Holdener. But Ricarda proofed everyone wrong, starting with a solid Super G (8th rank) and ending a great Slalom (3rd rank)! In the final standings this meant an outstanding third place, just ahead of Fischer athlete Ramona Siebenhofer in 4th.

Raphael follows

The sister has shown the way, one day later Raphael Haaser also sensationally won the bronze medal in the Alpine combined. Raphael confirmed his rising form and was already able to put himself in position with an excellent Super G (Rank 3). In the slalom, he then left no stone unturned, showed a great technique and was able to successfully defend the bronze rank at the end.

So there's a lot to celebrate in the Haaser house these days. Congratulations on these results, enjoy the parties!
