Fischer rocks the podium at the men's sprint

Johannes Thingnes Bø (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) secured his second gold medal in the second World Championship race in Östersund (SWE). Silver won Alexander Loginov (RUS, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) and bronze Quentin Fillon Maillet (FRA, Fischer skis, bindings and boots).

The big favorite Johannes Thingnes Bø won his next gold medal with one penalty. The Norwegian was the fastest in all laps while the rivals had divided their energies differently: "It was a very hard season. I worked a lot to be that good and I trained a lot to to keep my skiing pace. I have shown that it is possible, so this is a good starting position to win a medal tomorrow." Alexander Loginov and Quentin Fillon Maillet needed clean shootings to secure their medals 13 and 16 seconds back, ahead of Dmitro Pidruchnyi (UKR), who missed the bronze medal by 0.3 seconds.
