Adapting to the shape of your foot
To ensure an optimal fit for most skiers, Fischer boots use Fischer Scan-Fit® lasts, which were developed based on hundreds of thousands of foot scans. Therefore, our ski boots are divided into low (LV), medium (MV), and high (HV) volume constructions to ensure a perfect initial fit for the majority of skiers.
In addition, the RD (Race Department) and LT constructions are designed for World Cup and pure racing. Fischer RD models typically have a last width of 94 mm, LT 96 mm, LV 98 mm, MV 100 mm, and HV 102 mm. Look for the RD, LT, LV, MV, or HV marking printed on the shell and/or integrated into the product name and description to get an initial idea of the fit.

Somatec
For a more natural posture, greater power, and acceleration. Fischer's anatomical lasts allow the feet to maintain their natural V-position in the boot and the knees to remain parallel, preventing twisting of the knee and ankle joints. Centrifugal forces are further optimized as the body's center of gravity is shifted to the center of the ski when turning due to the posture in the boot.
The skier's center of gravity is located exactly above the center of the ski, resulting in limited centrifugal force in both directions. The identical lever length also enables very dynamic edge changes and tight turning radii. Thanks to the natural V-position in the boot, the entire flow of power is utilized and directed precisely in the direction of skiing. The power transfer is transferred directly to the flex and the acceleration process.

Fischer VACUUM
Fischer ski boots are known for their excellent fit right out of the box. For feet that are outside the norm and require individual adjustment to ensure a perfect fit, Fischer's Vacuum inner boots and shells are particularly easy to customize. They are the only ski boot shells on the market that can be customized for both wider and narrower feet. FISCHER VACUUM plast is a high-tech polymer developed exclusively for ski boots and characterized by superior material properties:
- Thermoformable at 65°C using the FISCHER VACUUM FULL FIT process.
- Lower weight (-15%) and better vibration damping than conventional PU.
- Temperature stability from +20 to -20, twice as high as conventional PU.
- Adaptive last: the shell automatically adjusts to the foot width by up to +/- 3 mm.
With Fischer Vacuum technology, either the entire shell can be customized using the standard vacuum process or, if only partially necessary, using the maneuverable and easy-to-use Zone-fit Station.

All FISCHER VACUUM FIT and COMFORT FIT inner boots are thermoformable and compatible with all Fischer vacuum tools. This is a simple process that takes about 30 minutes. FISCHER recommends having this process carried out in a specialist shop by a professional boot fitter. Firstly, it should be noted that inner boots do NOT need to be thermoformed. If they feel comfortable immediately after the first fitting, the customer can extend the life of the inner boots by breaking them in.

ZIPFIT
LINER
Built to last
RC4 ZipFit® liners are a co-branded product from FISCHER and renowned inner boot manufacturer ZipFit®, handmade in Italy. They are essentially a “boot” that fits inside the ski boot shell!
FISCHER now offers four PRO models that feature an improved RC4 ZipFit® liner in addition to other performance-oriented technologies. Like the VACUUM FIT liners, the RC4 ZipFit® is only available in one standard size, which is suitable for Fischer RC4 LV and Fischer RC4 MV boots. ZipFit® liners are unique in their use of a dynamic cork composite material. During manufacture, this cork composite is filled into three different inner pockets in the tongue, on the lateral ankle, and on the medial ankle.
The RC4 ZipFit® liner can be customized to suit individual needs, but are ready to use right out of the box. Before you start customizing your ZipFit® liner, you should ski for a few days. Breaking them in is the best way to adjust the fit. If this is not sufficient, these inner boots can be readjusted continuously, which is what makes them so unique. You can customize your liners by heating it to a maximum of 60°C (140°F). When you feel the cork softening, they are warm enough. Try pushing the cork away to reduce pressure points. You can also fine-tune the fit by adding or removing cork. For individual adjustment, we recommend consulting a certified dealer.
