Falla and Ustiugov win free sprints

Maiken Caspersen Falla (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) and Sergey Ustiugov (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated victory in free sprints of Davos World Cup in a very dominant style. Finn Hågen Krogh (NOR, Fischer) came in second ahead of Sindre Bjørnestad Skar (NOR, Fischer skis and boots).

Maiken Caspersen Falla totally dominated women's final. In the uphill of second lap she attacked and opened a gap which was impossible to close. Stina Nilsson (SWE, Fischer) didn't make the cut, she finished 31st after a fall in the qualification. Jonna Sundling (SWE, Fischer) was the fastest skier in prologue and finished fourth, Natalia Matveeva (RUS, Fischer) sixth.

Also in men's race there was an dominating athlete: Although Sergey Ustiugov as usual started out very slowly into quarter and semi final he changed his tactic for the final and took the lead very early. He sped down and let the young Lucas Chanavat (FRA, Fischer) took the lead. Inside the stadium Finn Hågen Krogh attacked and in addition to Ustiugov's speeding up both were able to escape. Also out of the slipstream Krogh wasn't able to catch the Russian. Behind them another sup was fighting for third spot and Sindre Bjørnestad Skar succeeded ahead of Alexey Petukhov (RUS, Fischer ski and boots). Emil Iversen (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) finished fifth ahead of the fastest qualifier Lucas Chanavat who hasn't enough energies for the final lap.
