At the classic sprint in Drammen (NOR) at the penultimate sprint in this year's cross-country World Cup the victories went to the Norwegian local heroes Maiken Caspersen Falla and Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (both NOR, Fischer skis and boots). Stina Nilsson (SWE, Fischer) and Eirik Brandsdal (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) came in second.

Falla wins free sprint in Lahti
The victory in the freestyle sprint in Lahti (FIN) went to Maiken Caspersen Falla (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) followed by Stina Nilsson (SWE Fischer). Gleb Retivykh (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) was also second ahead of Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR, Fischer skis and boots).

Sweden and Italy win team sprints in Dresden
Hanna Falk (SWE) and Stina Nilsson (SWE, Fischer) were beaten in the final sprint by their compatriots Ingemarsdotter/Dahlqvist (both SWE) in the team sprint at the World Cup in Dresden (GER). Ida Sargent (USA) and Sophie Caldwell (USA, Fischer skis and boots) became third. In men's race Dietmar Nöckler (ITA, Fischer skis and boots) and Federico Pellegrino (ITA) celebrated victory followed by Emil Jönsson (SWE, Fischer) and Teodor Peterson (SWE) as well as Andrey Krasnov and Gleb Retivykh (both RUS, Fischer skis and boots).

At the first World Cup on the banks of the River Elbe, thousands of spectators cheered and gave a great athmosphere. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) was narrowly beaten in the final and finished second ahead of Lucas Chanavat (FRA, Fischer skis and boots). Sophie Caldwell (USA, Fischer skis and boots) came in third in women's sprint.

Second went to Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) followed by Calle Halfvarsson (SWE, Fischer). Marit Bjørgen (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) lateron won the 15 kilometres for women after she succeeded in the final sprint.

Dario Cologna (SUI, Fischer skis and boots) finished third. Stina Nilsson (SWE, Fischer) was ranked third after seven exciting stages of Tour de Ski which was won by Heidi Weng (NOR) for the first time.

The Russian celebrated his first ever victory in an intervall start race during fifth stage of Tour de Ski in Dobbiaco (ITA) over 10 kilometres. In women's 5 kilometres race surprisingly Sadie Bjornsen (USA, Fischer skis and boots) came in third.

Nilsson and Ustiugov furthermore in the lead after handicap race
Stina Nilsson (SWE, Fischer) also succeeded in handicap race over zehn kilometres free style on fourth stage of Tour de Ski. Fourth stage - fourth win for Sergey Ustiugov (RUS, Fischer skis and boots): After 15 kilometres the Russian finished first ahead of Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR, Fischer skis and boots).
