Fischer's successes continue in Östersund

The Biathlon World Championships in Östersund (SWE) drew to a close with stormy and snowy weather. Following the successes of Seefeld, the athletes of the Fischer Race Family once again worked hard to ensure that Fischer was able to prove its supremacy as the most successful ski, boot and binding brand as the Nordic number one. 12 Gold medals, 10 Silver and 15 Bronze went to Fischer athletes, which means that 56% of all medals were won on Fischer skis, 55% with Fischer boots, and 71% using the TURNAMIC® binding set-up.

Therese Johaug wins hard 10 kilometer race

In the fresh snow in Falun (SWE) Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) won the free-style race over 10 kilometers and continued her incredible winning streak. Ebba Andersson (SWE, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) came in second. In the men's race, the perfectly planned tactics of Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) did not work completely. He finished second behind Alexander Bolshunov (RUS), third went to Didrik Tønseth (NOR, Fischer skis, bindings and boots).

Yurlova-Percht wins silver in the mass start

At the Italian biathlon day in Östersund (SWE) with wins by Dorothea Wierer and Dominik Windisch (both ITA) Ekaterina Yurlova-Percht (RUS, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) celebrated the vice World Champion title in the mass start. Bronze went to Denise Herrmann (GER, Fischer skis, bindings and boots) and Julian Eberhard (AUT, Fischer skis, bindings and boots).
