The French duo Jacquelin/Bescond finally succeeded in an exciting single mixed relay. The decision was made at the last shooting, when Bescond hit all targets and Lisa Hauser had to reload once and Karoline Offigstad Knotten (NOR, Fischer ***) twice. As a result, the French woman could no longer be caught. Thanks to a clean shooting, the Estonian Regina Oja came back to Austria within striking distance and even gave the Austrian no chance on the final round. After fifth place in the last mixed relay, she and Rene Zakhna secured a historic podium. Emma Lunder (CAN, Fischer **), who left the shooting range together with Hauser and Oja, secured fourth place for herself and Chris Gow (CAN) followed by Ukraine.
As the starting skier, Quentin Fillon Maillet managed to gain a ten-second lead over the other teams, which Johannes Thingnes Bø as the second Norwegian destroyed and handed over to the third Norwegian with a 15 second lead. Thanks to an impressive performance of Justine Braisaz, the French team took the lead again and Julia Simon was able to bring the lead to the finish with one spare round in each shooting. Third place went to the German quartet with the inexperienced relay composed of Philipp Horn, Johannes Kühn, Janina Hettich and the new final skier Vanessa Hinz, who held this place almost throughout the whole race. Matvey Eliseev (RUS), Alexander Loginov (RUS, Fischer ***) Larisa Kuklina (RUS, Fischer ***) and Irina Starykh (RUS) finished fourth ahead of the Swedes Peppe Femling (SWE, Fischer **), Jesper Nelin ( SWE, Anna Magnusson (SWE) and Elisabeth Högberg (SWE, Fischer ***).
