Chiara Hölzl again showed excellent shape on the normal hill in Zao and was happy to have another podium. With headwind in the first round, 90.5 meters was only enough for fifth place, but in the final, with tailwind, she improved by two meters and was able to leave Katharina Althaus (GER, Fischer) and Nika Kriznar (SLO, Fischer) behind. Fourth went to Marita Kramer (AUT, Fischer) followed by Maren Lundby (NOR, Fischer), who was only ninth after the first round. Nika Kriznar fell behind to sixth place, Katharina Althaus finished eighth ahead of Anna Odine Strøm (NOR, Fischer) and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT, Fischer).
