fischer ski transalp tour

Crossing the snow-covered Alps on skis is a very special adventure with memories that will be with you for many years to come. In order to guarantee safety, however, you need meticulous planning and professional guides – which is precisely what the Fischer Transalp offers.

Fischer Transalp 2018

With the US, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and Austria represented, the eighth edition of the Fischer Transalp had the most international cast ever. This year’s tour started where Fischer’s roots run deep: in the middle of the ski production facility in Ried im Innkreis, where the creation of brand new touring gear was inspected in detail before the group headed out with top-flight new gear and their mountain guides - extreme athlete Axel Naglich and Fischer’s own Transalp pros - towards the mountains. In Hinterstoder everyone clicked into their skis and immediately started quickly logging serious vertical meters.

With heavy snow, fog, strong wind and rain, the group faced the toughest conditions there could be for crossing the Alps. It is said the journey is the destination. In this spirit the group faced down all challenges that were put in their way.

In the tour diary, the crew reports about their adventures. Find out more:

Fischer Transalp 2017

The adventure for the Transalp group 2017 including mountain guides and Fischer support team members started on Sunday 19 March as they set off for Chamonix, France. It is from there that they will cross the Alps in six stages on touring skis. The final destination: Torino, Italy. The weather gods appear to be smiling on the crew, and so the first day begins in brilliant sunshine under a cloudless sky…

The Fischer Transalp 2016
From Reschen in Vinschgau to Allgäu and Oberstdorf in six days – that was the Fischer Transalp 2016. 13 adventurers joined forces with extreme sportsman Axel Naglich in a unique ski touring experience. Despite the forecasts of bad weather to begin with, Fischer mountain guide Peter Perhab looks back on an unforgettable tour: "30cm of powder snow, brilliant sunshine and a panorama which is second to none – we can look back on one of the most beautiful Fischer Transalp tours ever!"
