Dave Ryding was the best placed rider in the Fischer team with 4th rank and only 0.01 seconds to the podium. In his second home, the mountain of his head sponsor, he showed a very strong performance, especially in the second run, and could hope for a podium until the last run. A very good start into the season for the experienced Brit.

Switzerland's Daniel Yule finished just 0.02 seconds behind Ryding and thus also celebrated a solid start to the season. The two-time winner of last season, in Madonna and Kitzbühel, had certainly hoped for a little more, but this result can still be built on.

Positive surprises this Saturday were the Swede Kristoffer Jakobsen, the Brit Billy Major, the Swiss Luca Aerni and the Austrian Dominik Raschner. Jakobsen finished on Rank 11, Billy Major on Rank 16, Raschner on Rank 17 and Aerni on Rank 20.

Greek rider AJ Ginnis had an unfortunate day. One day after his birthday, he got off to a furious start in the first run and pulverized all the intermediate times set up to that point, but unfortunately he straddled a few gates later. Also Noel von Grünigen, Giuliano Razzoli, Jett Seymour and Simon Maurberger were not able to reach the second run.

Next stop of the Slalom World Cup will be Val D'Isere on 10th of December, be safe to tune in!
