Charlotte Kalla and Daniel Richardsson claim victory at Årefjällsloppet
Charlotte Kalla (SWE, Fischer) and Daniel Richardsson (SWE, Fischer skis and boots) claimed victory today at the Årefjällsloppet in Sweden. Seraina Boner (SUI, Fischer) took fourth place and thus ensured the victory in the overall ranking of the SWIX Ski Classics the third time.

Fischer with a flurry of medals and glistening globes
What a performance: for the fifth time in succession Fischer emerged as the dominatingly successful Nordic ski and boot brand in this year's World Cup season. In the Nordic disciplines 69% of the athletes made it to the podium with Fischer skis and 49% were also successful with Fischer boots. Five of the seven large and eight of the thirteen small crystal globes went to athletes in the Fischer Racing Team. This impressive success was topped only by the flurry of medals in Sochi (RUS): a remarkable 103 of the 159 possible medals there were won by Fischer athletes, adding a new chapter to the history of the family-owned company to coincide with its 90-year anniversary.

Anastasiya Kuzmina (SVK, Fischer) succeeded also in today's mass start at biathlon World Cup in Oslo (NOR) after winning yesterday's pursuit. The big crystal globe for winning the overall World Cup went to Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots).

Kuzmina and Eder triumphate in last pursuit race in Oslo
Anastasiya Kuzmina (SVK, Fischer) celebrated her first season's World Cup success in last season's pursuit at biathlon World Cup at Holmenkollen (NOR) followed by Tora Berger (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) and Olga Vilukhina (RUS, Fischer). The Austrians Stefan Kraft (AUT, Fischer), Andreas Kofler (AUT, Fischer), Thomas Diethart (AUT) and Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer) dominated the last season's team event at World Cup final in Planica (SLO). Second went to Poland followed by Norway.

Darya Domracheva and Jakov Fak sprint to victory in Oslo
In difficult snow conditions Darya Domracheva (BLR, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated her seventh season's success. Second went to local heroe Tora Berger (NOR, Fischer skis, aboots and poles) followed by Susan Dunklee (USA, Fischer skis and boots). In men's sprint Jakov Fak (SLO, Fischer) dominated the race and succeeded ahead of Evgeniy Garanichev (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) and Björn Ferry (SWE, Fischer skis and boots).

Johannes Thingnes Bø (NOR, Fischer) continued his winning series with winning also pursuit race in biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti (FIN). In very challenging wind conditions Björn Ferry (SWE, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated a podium result. Two hours later Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots) did a flawless hat-trick in her hometown Kontiolahti. Darya Domracheva (BLR, Fischer skis and boots) finished second.

The German dominated the first two jumps, today the follow-up of competition at Certová hora (devils hill) in Harrachov (CZE) wasn't possible due to strong gusts of wind. Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer skis and boots) secured his first season's success in the last individual event this year. Jørgen Gråbak (NOR, Fischer) was ranked second ahead of Alessandro Pittin (ITA, Fischer skis and boots). Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer skis and boots) ranked fourth today and received the big crystal globe for the victory 13l14 in the overall World Cup.

Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis and boos) totally dominated women's 15k skiathlon. Marit Bjørgen (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) came in second and lost points in overall ranking and seconds in World Cup final ranking. Alex Harvey (CAN, Fischer) celebrated his second season's win in 15+15k skiathlon in Falun. In the final sprint he edged out the overall World Cup winner Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) and will start with a 26 seconds lead into tomorrow's pursuit.

Marit Bjørgen reduces her disadvantage in overall World Cup ranking to three points
Marit Bjørgen (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) continued her strong finish in overall World Cup ranking and in now after classical sprint in Falun (SWE) just three points behind Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis and boots). In men's sprint three Swedes made a podium - Emil Jönsson (SWE, Fischer skis and boots) was beaten just by a hair's breadth. Hattestad (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) secured sprint World Cup title despite reclassification due to obstruction.

Johannes Thingnes Bø (NOR, Fischer) celebrated his third ever World Cup success in biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti (FIN). Arnd Peiffer (GER, Fischer) came in third. Women's sprint ended with a home success of Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots), her brand and team mate Mari Laukkanen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots) made her first ever World Cup podium.

Audun Laugaland shortly miss the victory at Vasaloppet
Until two kilometers before the finish Audun Laugaland (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) looked like the winner as he was in a comfortable lead at the 90th Vasaloppet – but however at the end he had to be satisfied in fourth place.
