Second place for the Austrian in St. Moritz

Good ground for Nicole Hosp in St. Moritz: the Austrian racer was back to her old self, clinching second place in the Super Combined. "That was exactly what I needed at this time," said Hosp with a clear sigh of relief. Lena Dürr also delivered a top result for the Fischer team. The German racer finished in sixth and showed that she is a force to be reckoned with.
St. Moritz, a place full of memories

Despite what had been a disappointing season so far Nicole Hosp went into the race in St. Moritz feeling positive. "I always like to come back to St. Moritz. This is the place where a big career began for me ten years ago. A place full of positive memories. It's as if everything just falls into place," said Hosp, delighted about a successful race again. Following four World Cup podium finishes in total so far in St. Moritz and two WSC medals in 2003 this success was her seventh in the top-class Swiss ski resort. "This is a confidence booster which I can hopefully take with me for the rest of the season!"

Lena Dürr strong in sixth

The technically challenging race slope in St. Moritz was good ground not only for Hosp but also for brand colleague Lena Dürr. The 21-year-old German racer took sixth place in the Super Combined. The technical specialist paved the way with a good performance and 11th place in the Super G. An excellent run in the Slalom then finally left her with her second top-ten result of the season: "Skiing here is fun! I already skied quite well here last year in the Super G. It's simply my kind of slope," said Lena Dürr, also delighted about her successful race.
