AEROSHAPE

EFFICIENT IN THE CLIMB, AGILE IN THE DOWNHILL.
The patented Fischer Aeroshape technology makes the tour ski much lighter and, thanks to the special core and surface construction, also far more stable. This is how a Fischer Aeroshape ski offers you better climbing performance together with improved downhill performance.




MASS OPTIMIZATION
Considerable material savings at the sides. The mass and thus the ski's centre of gravity is concentrated in the middle around the longitudinal axis. This means better longitudinal stability and balance when climbing plus smoother skiing on the downhill run.


TORSION CONTROL
The entire top ski surface arcs from edge to edge. In quick turns, this transfers the power the shortest way– from edge to edge – and reduces twisting. The slender profi le in the edge area also enhances edge grip.


STREAM LINE
Aeroshape creates a streamlined surface form: snow resistance is reduced in the climb and snow doesn't stick. The ski also glides through the snow with less resistance in the downhill – and is thus more energy-saving all-round.
FISCHER VACUUM TOUR

FINALLY – THE FIRST SKI TOUR BOOT WHICH IS FULLY ADAPTABLE
Fischer VACUUM is legendary – and now available for the first time for a touring ski boot. Ski tourers in particular place extremely high requirements on boot fittings. Long climbs, technical sections, enjoyable downhills – you don't wait any aches or pains in your feet.

This is why the Fischer orthopaedists, biomechanics and boot technicians have completely revamped the touring boot, tuned it to the special requirements of ski tours and added the fully anatomical VACUUM boot fitting feature.

The result is a tour boot with more freedom of movement, better power transfer and a perfect fit. Fischer Transalp VACUUM: a new milestone.
TOUR CONSTRUCTION
The Semi Overlap Construction which is optimised for ski tours is a hybrid consisting of Cabrio and Overlap. The result is top flexibility in the climb and strong performance in the downhill. VACUUM technology enables an individual, anatomic adjustment to all feet. The Thermoshape boot liner supports the perfect fit.


FOOT POSITIONING
The conventional, parallel foot position is unnatural. Soma-Tec offers ski tourers notably better power transfer for greater uphill comfort and more enjoyable downhills. The lowered alpine skiing position supports more direct turn initiation.


CUFF ROTATION
Thanks to the previously unattained Cuff Rotation of 60° every step taken in Hike Mode is up to 10cm longer. May not sound much, but it has an incredible effect: with an average of 8,000 steps for every 1,000m difference in altitude the Transalp is within reach.

EXTREMELY FAST THROUGH THE TURN
The race plate plays a key role in turns: it makes sure that the skier's power is directed to where it should go – in the turn. And this is precisely Fischer's approach, with Race Booster revolutionising power transfer.


UNIQUE CONSTRUCTION FOR UNPARALLELED FLEX.
Everyone looks for a way to ski turns more aggressively – and Fischer has found it. The magic formula is: faster and stronger flex! This is achieved through a completely new design of race plate. Instead of a rigid construction the flexible, three-part design enables maximum ski flex at the centre of the ski resulting in a previously unthinkable concentration of power for faster and shorter turn initiation.

Fischer RACE CODE means direct access to exclusive World Cup technology. This is where, in collaboration with athletes and ski technicians, innovations are developed which first have to prove their worth in the technological "arms race" in the professional Alpine competitions before they make it into this top segment of series production.

AIR TEC
With its own, specially developed patented technology designed for the Nordic sector's extreme targets of weight reduction, Fischer now enables less weight in Alpine skiing, too.
The Air Tec wood core has been given an elaborate, offset milled structure which, on the one hand, makes the core 25% lighter and, on the other hand maintains the outstanding ski performance: both flex and torsion remain the same.


MAKING LIGHT EVEN LIGHTER.
A special milling finish of the full-surface Titanal shell saves even more weight, especially in the All Mountain sector. This reduces weight even further without making any compromises of any kind in ski performance.
