Safety on winter roads – this is the motto of the collaboration again between Jeep and Fischer Sports in the new World Cup season in which both companies wish to underline their performance in the field of winter sports.
Jeep brand vehicles are known throughout the world for their convincing all-wheel drive competence and the associated assurance of being able to handle even the harshest of road and weather conditions in impressive style. "The cooperation with the tradition-rich Austrian company Fischer offers us an ideal platform to present the performance and quality of our Jeep models in the toughest conditions," says Martin Rada, Managing Director, Fiat Group Automobiles Austria.

This collaboration means that the employees who work in the Alpine department at Fischer and spend a lot of their time on the road will be doing so in Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models. In return, Jeep will have its very own Jeep Ski, designed especially by Fischer Sports. Just like the Jeep vehicles, the Fischer Jeep Ski is all about safety and performance. Besides a 100 per cent wood core and Sandwich Sidewall construction the Fischer Jeep Ski stands out through the All Mountain Rocker which ensures balanced, continuous turn initiation and excellent manoeuvrability – not only on groomed slopes but also when you are off-piste.

Fischer will be using the vehicles from Jeep in particular for a wide range of events including dealer meetings, ski tests and Alpine races. "These are the typical situations where our people face the biggest challenges. The routes and roads to the skiing regions can often be very demanding. And this makes our work more difficult," says Christian Lutz, Alpine Marketing Manager at Fischer Sports. Thanks to this partnership Fischer employees will now find it easier to make their way to the winter destinations. Besides Austria the vehicles will be on the road in Switzerland and Germany, too, where the accent will be likewise on safety and sensational looks.

As in the previous year the companies once again joined forces at the opening race of the World Cup in Sölden. This opportunity was taken to hand over the first vehicles for the upcoming season to Fischer Sports Alpine Marketing Manager Christian Lutz and  Racing Director Siegfried Voglreiter.
