Racing: Hannes Reichelt changes to Fischer
25-year-old with the complete Fischer package: skis, boots and bindings
Well-known face signs for Fischer. In the coming season Hannes Reichelt, winner of the Beaver Creek Super G in 2005 and fourth in the overall Super G ranking in the 2005/06 season will be competing with Fischer's overall package of skis, boots and bindings.
Rosenkranz: "Reichelt's decision says a lot about the overall Fischer package"
"In the past Hannes Reichelt has already had very good material. The fact that now, after tests, he has decided in favour of Fischer says a lot about our entire system of skis, boots and bindings. His trust in our products shows that we are on the right track with our equipment and that our commitment to racing is also welcomed by the athletes", says Stefan Rosenkranz, General Manager Alpine, happy about the new Austrian signing. "Hannes fits in very well with our team", analyses Racing Director Siegi Voglreiter. "We will make every effort to make sure he can increase his performance even further with our equipment and celebrate his biggest successes with Fischer."
Reichelt: "Excellent test results with Fischer"
For Reichelt himself the decision for the change was based on "excellent test results with Fischer". The racer, who comes from the Salzburg region, continues: "The remarkable dedication in the Fischer racing department with Siegi Voglreiter and the new challenge were what finally convinced me to make the decision. The young and motivated Fischer team went out of their way to get me on board. We're now working flat out on the racing products for next season. I would also like to thank my previous team as well, though, for the good work together over the past years."
