With her arms in the air and a cry of celebration on her lips Laura Dahlmeier** (GER) concluded the outstanding 14l15 season for the Fischer Race Family with her victory in the last race. The figures are overwhelming: six of the seven large overall World Cup globes and ten of the thirteen small crystal globes for victory in the various World Cup disciplines went to Fischer athletes. In the Nordic disciplines, 70% of the athletes made it to the podium with Fischer skis and 56% were also successful with Fischer boots. For the sixth time in succession Fischer thus emerged as the dominatingly successful Nordic ski and boot brand in the World Cup winter – and underlined this fact also at the two World Championships. In addition to all individual world champions in Falun (SWE) and numerous medal winners in Kontiolahti (FIN), the winners of the Vasalauf and Birkebeiner races also rely on Fischer for performance. Nordic racing success has a name: Fischer.
