Noriaki Kasai (JPN)
Kamil Stoch (POL)

The two Fischer eagles Jernej Damjan (SLO) and Noriaki Kasai (JPN) claimed victory after the first half of the Summer Grand Prix in the second competition in Hakuba (JPN). After Richard Freitag (GER, Fischer) won the kick-off in Hinterzarten (GER, Fischer) and Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) was successful in Einsiedeln (SUI) the Fischer eagles continue on the road to success.
While Jernej Damjan celebrated overhappy his first ever victory at the Summer Grand Prix, Noriaki Kasai, the 41 year old veteran, was beside himself with joy about his home victory: "It's been two years since my last victory. Back then I was still in my 30's, now I'm in the 40's. This makes me even happier and it shows me that I can still keep up with the world's best.“

At the kick-off Richard Freitag likewise was able to win on home turf and was convinced about his improvements: „We are training well right now and winning is of course nice, but not the most important thing. What counts is that we improve step by step.“

For Kamil Stoch his victory in Einsiedeln was the icing of the cake: „It was my goal to be on the podium in one of these competitions. I could achieve that and it was actually a victory, so I'm extremely happy.“

Now the Summer Grand Prix takes a short break. From September 14th it will go on with competitions in Nizhny Tagil (RUS 14./15.09.), Almaty (KAZ, 21./22.09.) and Hinzenbach (AUT, 29.09.), before on October 3rd the final will take place in Klingenthal (GER).
