For Severin Freund (GER, Fischer) this skijumping season could even last longer. Also at World Cup final in Planica valley (SLO) he succeeded ahead of Anders Bardal (NOR, Fischer).
Sevi in the shape of his life
Severin Freund is continuing riding on the wave of success: The Bavarian continues his winning series - after Sochi he secured five victories and twice came in second, only in Trondheim he was ranked seventh. "Now in the end of the season jumping is more easy", Sevi smirked - although the hill profile doesn't suit him: "When looking on the jump-off platform you don't think that the platform is that short. You have to be with quick reactions as in Sochi and I don't like it so much." Severin Freund twice jumped on hill record width with 137.5 metres in both rounds and due to a bad landing in his first round he was finally just 0.3 points ahead of Anders Bardal who was in the lead after the first jump. Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) came in fourth followed by Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer) and Noriaki Kasai (JPN, Fischer). Andreas Kofler (AUT, Fischer) was ranked seventh ahead of Maciej Kot (POL, Fischer). Andreas Stjernen (NOR, Fischer) finished tenth.
