Anton Shipulin (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated his first season's win in pursuit on Pokljuka plateau (SLO). Björn Ferry (SWE, Fischer skis and boots) came in second. Also Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots) realized her first season's win. Tora Berger (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) was ranked second.

Again challenging wind conditions
In difficult wind conditions Anton Shipulin had to deal with just one miss in his first prone stage which dropped him back first. But then the Russian hit all 15 targets and secured his first season's World Cup success. He changes his final spot with sprint winner Björn Ferry who finished second after skiing two penalty loops. Dmitry Malyshko (RUS, Fischer) came in fourth again although he missed three shots. Jakov Fak (SLO, Fischer) increased to spot six, Simon Eder (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) and Andrejs Rastorgujevs (LAT, Fischer skis and boots) were ranked eighth and ninth.

Commanding success
After two clean shooting Kaisa Mäkäräinen, fourth in sprint race, took the lead and extended her lead so that she was able to afford two penalties. However, she crossed the line 20 seconds ahead of Tora Berger who missed two targets as well. Darya Domracheva (BLR, Fischer skis and boots) showed an excellent performance despite her three misses and increased from 28 to 4. Tiril Eckhoff (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) came in fifth followed by Andrea Henkel (GER, Fischer skis and boots) who also improved from 25 to 6. Olga Vilukhina (RUS, Fischer) was ranked eighth.
