ANDREAS WANK CLAIMS FIRST VICTORY AT THE SUMMER GRAND PRIX
Andreas Wank (GER, Fischer) took his first ever victory at the Summer Grand Prix ahead of Reruhi Shimizu (JPN, Fischer). Lukas Hlava (CZE, Fischer) completed the pure Fischer podium in third place.
Andreas Wank was in second position after the first round and claimed victory after the best jump in the second round. "I was waiting for my home Grand Prix in Hinterzarten," explained the overwhelmed winner "and I am really happy that I was able to take my first victory."
Second place was ensured by Reruhi Shimizu. The winner from Courchevel was in the lead after the first round, but was satisfied by taking second place anyway. Lukas Hlava in third place was likewise able to celebrate a premiere after making the podium at the Summer Grand Prix the first time ever in his career.
Place four and five went to Tom Hilde (NOR, Fischer) and Yuta Watase (JPN, Fischer). With Piotr Zyla (POL, Fischer), Roman Koudelka (CZE, Fischer), Sebastian Colloredo (ITA, Fischer) and Richard Freitag (GER, Fischer) in seventh to tenth place a further four Fischer eagles made the top ten.
