The 2011 edition of the FIS Grand Prix in Ski Jumping will get underway at the weekend. Wisla (POL), the home town of the Polish superstar Adam Malysz, will host the opening on Sunday, 17th July.
After the competition in Wisla the teams will travel to Szczyrk, located just 20 km away, where the second competition will take place on 20th July. The Poland Tour at the beginning of the Summer Grand Prix will conclude in Zakopane on 22nd and 23rd July, with the team competition held on Saturday and the individual event on Sunday.
The Summer Grand Prix will then go on with the well known stops in Hinterzarten (GER), Courchevel (FRA), Einsiedeln (SUI) and Hakuba (JPN). New are two competitions in Almaty (KAZ) and Hinzenbach (AUT) before we will know the new Overall Summer Grand Prix winner 2011 on 3rd of October in Klingenthal (GER).
